Biography
Bali focuses on standardising risk assessment across diverse removal approaches, including nature-based solutions. She brings stakeholders from the carbon removal market together to coordinate research into carbon removal risks and management strategies. Additionally, she is leading research on indigenous water conservation techniques from Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Previously she researched innate immune system activation, including the effects of microplastics on inflammation and she holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Manchester
