Biography

Ville received his PhD in Economics from the University of Gothenburg in 2023, joining LEEP at the University of Exeter the same year. His dissertation focused on the economics of aquatic resource protection and land use in the US. In his current research, Ville combines micro-econometric methods and quasi-experimental research designs with geospatial data analysis to explore the economic and environmental dynamics of biodiversity conservation.
